Created and developed by Alexander Watanabe. This project is one of the originals, and boy what a project it is.
Launched on May 28th 2021, there were 3 rounds of drops consisting of a total 31,119 Unsigs. These were actually the best 0.6% of the total Unsigs that were possible from the Mathematically derived computer algorithms used to create the art.
Oh yes, so let's rewind a second. Before we go any further, we strongly suggest you visit their website unsigs.com, there you can learn about all the amazing aspects of the project. We will just give a very simple overview here to whet your appetite.
These images are not man made.. They are generated by using advanced Python programming language algorithms.
The properties used to create the unsigs include;
• the colours red, blue and green
• random intensity distribution
• layer rotation
Among other properties.
The Unsigned Algorithm NFTs are all unique, they can be added to as well, combining other algorithms to create more complexity.
This is achieved through the code that is created from the Algorithm and these NFTs were actually the first to exist on the blockchain itself as opposed an IFPS link to an externally stored image and data.
Putting aside the historical firsts that this project represents, which in itself is worthy of a place in every collectors wallet, some of the most mesmerising images on the marketplace are unsigs. Alex is really engaging and active in the NFT community and have contributed so much in such a short period of time to so many people.
As always, we aim to provide you with a brief insight into projects that are in our opinion, the best that Cardano has to offer and every time we look at this project, we love it a little more.
The Unsigs project is one of the most desirable projects in the ecosystem, at time of writing there were almost 1,500 wallets that own an unsig with only 1,045 available (out of 30k+) to purchase on the second hand market. The cheapest one available being 945ADA. Those that own these NFTs are very reluctant to give them up.
