Spacebudz
Launched on 26th March 2021, Spacebudz are the original PFP style NFT project on cardano, bought to you by Alessandro Berry and Zieg.
Alessandro is the creator of the first NFT project on Cardano (Berry NFT.) He also created the Nami wallet and runs the Berry Stake Pool.
When we are looking for projects with a serious team behind it, you can't get more serious than this.
Spacebudz (a 10,000 PFP NFT Project) was also the first Project to launch a smart contract marketplace spacebudz.io which helped to propel the value of spacebudz to the point of achieving the first NFT sale on Cardano that hit the $1million mark.
Consisting of animal characters dressed in a space suit and various accessories the Spacebudz NFTs were a huge success from the moment they were released.
Rarity is is a big driver in the interest of these NFTs, every element of the visual carries its own rarity value.
The Dino character is the most rare character with only 8 minted out of 10,000 and the most rare accessory is the SPO laptop or indeed "No accessory) with only 30 NFTs carrying these attributes. Along with Unsigs and Claynation, Spacebudz are probably the most well known project outside of the Cardano NFT ecosystem. As well as being attributed with some impressive historic milestones within the Cardano NFY evolution, Spacebudz have a rock solid community and is really the flagship PFP NFT project for the network.
